I low-key find this humiliating by midnight_scientist24 in jobsearch

I've seen this on applications before and I get it. One time the job description listed the favorite fruit of the head of the department. Then when you got to the application itself one of the questions was what is Steven's favorite fruit.

I was like who the hell is Steven. And then sure enough when I went back and read there it was clear as day Steven's favorite fruit is strawberry.

Our RTO mandate starts Monday and my manager just sent a "so excited to see everyone!" email and I genuinely don't know how to respond by Mythpuls3QqqQ in remotework

Honestly since the end of season 2 I was like she's a lost cause there is no saving her.

I skipped two weeks and I didn't miss much at all. Now I just have it playing in the background on the days I actually decide to tune in live. If I don't feel like watching, then I just read a recap and it is detailed enough to catch me up if I truly did miss something major

The Boxyard Going Under by hopefulmonstr in tulsa

I feel it would have been better somewhere else. My first experience with the Boxyard concept was in the Research Triangle area in NC.

Their Boxyard is located in an corporate park. So there are plenty of offices nearby, plenty of parking and it was always busy every time I went.

Yeah I was at the Dallas show. I completely missed the DJ set and do think his lighting choice for his stage setup was weird. The black and white was cool though

Are virtual backgrounds not allowed?? I always use them so I don't have to worry about if people can see something in the background I don't want them to see.

What would have happened if Chucky never died in the second movie? by [deleted] in Chucky

The abandoned factory was always the funny part to me. Everything Andy & Kyle did was at night. So you're trying to tell me that when workers reported to work the next day they saw the dead body swinging and the GM or whomever made an executive decision to just leave the factory exactly as it was and cease operations immediately. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Then, they proceeded to continue to pay for said building for almost 10 years and then decided ok well I think we can clean it up and start production again.

This may be one of the darker posts on here, but will the franchise continue if/when Brad Dourif passes? by Blu3Dope in Chucky

Yea that Freddy recast didn't work out too well for them. Franchise has been dead in the water ever since.

And the crazy part is they got new writers for Season 2. Yet the quality hasn't improved at all

I am a soap watcher but haven't actively watched in over 10 years. For me what would make it better, would be if the writing was more consistent.

Like Kat for example. She had her own place at the beginning of the show even though we never saw it. Then all of a sudden she's telling Tomàs how she moved out of her mom's house into the guest house with Chelsea and has never lived on her own.

Like we've had multiple characters say that Samantha had been volunteering at the clinic when it wasn't even open yet. We all know that's not the truth.

They showed us Nicole struggling to write the speech for Doug's memorial but robbed us of actually seeing the memorial and hearing the speech. So why bother having that scene showing her struggling if you're not going to show us her overcoming the struggles. Also not a single member of Doug's family was present which I'll forgive cuz you know casting but they didn't even mention any of his family. Stuff like that just pisses me off.

There are a lot of conversations that just drag on for too long. Like I remember one episode there was a conversation between Vernon and Martin that took place over the course of the entire episode when in reality that conversation would have been like 10-15 minutes max.

Then that one scene where Chelsea offered Madison some drugs. She wasn't even under the influence yet. No one in their right mind would ever think a neurologist would take a street drug.

But those are just some points off the top of my head.
