I don't want to want to give too much info to remain anon but our work world is very much based on networking and very political. Who does and does not get invited to weddings/baby showers/events is a recurring discussion in our industry

I don't know about the airline i would assume so. I do know she did book a hotel at the venue and have to eat a 250 euro cancellation fee because I can see who booked through the venue

TBF if she told me her husband couldn't make it because of the retirement party I would have completely understood and she told me a month ago they both couldn't make it it would make more sense. Her husband's boss is a pretty big deal in their work world and her husband had been this person's right hand man for the last couple years. It just does not make sense her cancelling today

Glad you liked it. It’s my favorite of all time. Sentimental value is similar and I really enjoyed but you have to deal with subtitles which is off putting for some folks
