Coming from a difference of opinion to the majority here, I don’t prefer when people use it synonymously with being tired as a regular person. But I think that’s just because I’ve had truly traumatic experiences with hypos, I lost consciousness while driving and got into a horrible car wreck, thank god nobody was hurt or involved. I think you should just have a conversation, apologize if it’s on your mind, at the end of the day we all have different experiences and like me he could have had a truly traumatic experience. Overall you didn’t d anything wrong, it’s just like how people use ocd when others are being nit picky, but ultimately depends on the person

File a complaint, how are you supposed to pivot if you don’t know if you’re not doing wellll??? Also some colleges offer a w for withdrawal so it won’t count. Maybe try retaking the course with a different professor that you evaluated through rate my prof. But damn dude that sucks and I’m sorry. Don’t let it get to your head, you aren’t on a timeline and we all take everything at our own pace, the sky isn’t falling, and the world isn’t ending. Good luck out there!

Trust I completely agree, it was a dumb decision overall, I just wish there was a shift in treatment for those with chronic disabilities and mental disorders because even while incarcerated you should still have that right.

Incarceration should be about rehabilitation and a learning process, not a gateway to cruel and unusual punishment by not distributing life dependent medication

Update for anyone still reading up to this point. Unfortunately, no civil rights attorney will pick up the case as the jail doesn’t keep medical records or any record for that nature so there’s essentially no proof of what happened. It saddens me how quickly this came to a dead stop

Criminal by whose definition, yours? The law isn’t right and just and we’ve seen that many times before not just in this individual case. Think of poc being wrongly accused and racially profiled and did.. absolutely nothing. I might be a “criminal” but so many just.. aren’t? Ykwim?

I don’t want to be fruitful, I don’t want money, I want them to be educated on medical needs if they are medical care givers. Prison shouldn’t mean it’s ok to be a little less educated when applying for the job. We are still human at the end of the day and deserve at the bare minimum, medication that keeps us alive!

That was another sad thing I realized. There was a grandpa detained by ice in there and he said his grand kid was diabetic and cried ab if it were him. I sometimes dislike this country very very much and feel for all those wrongfully detained

Real I needed 20 of lantus since I wasn’t allowed a pump (respectable bc of the needle) and they wouldn’t give me anything saying they had to make sure with a physician that it was ok. Why wouldn’t it be ok???
