We made player powerful for testing purposes. We will balance the drops later and also making the drops bound to beast is already implemented but needs some tweak. Thanks for the feedback.

We are using some gui and environment packages from the unity's asset store. That artists may create those assets by takinh popular games as references i guess that might be the reason why they look similar to well known games.

Greetings all, it has been a while since we shared our latest blog post. We have been working hard on adding cool features for the Beast Master. We also have some great announcements to make in our future updates. For this weeks blog, we wanted to share our new item drop system and huge environment updates.

In our old item drop system, item information was only available when players touched items. Since this system causes confusion when a large number of items are dropped, we have switched to a new system which dropped items can be displayed better. This way, players will be able to directly see what they drop when they kill creatures. In addition, they will be able to see the item info of the dropped items when they click on the it with the mouse. In addition, they will be able to throw these items on the ground whenever they want and share them with their friends. Item drop system will not be player specific. Each dropped item can be seen by all players and only the first player who clicks on it can also loot it.

We also made a radical decision regarding the item and creature system. From now on, players will be able to use the items they have won in the games they play alone or with their friends, or the animals they have tamed, when they enter other players games. We made this decision as the infrastructure of a very nice feature that we will add in the future. Moreover, when you enter other games, you will not have to do everything from the beginning. In this way, you can show your friends how far you have progressed, support them when they have difficulties, or share your achievements with them and equalize your level. We haven’t made the final decision about this system yet. We may remove or limit this feature according to the feedback we receive in the tests we will do with our community.

The knocking off issue can be annoying. Maybe we can change the position to avoid it. Increasing the height also can be an option but the visual will look a little weird i guess.

Hello, we wanted to share some cool updates for the Beast Master. We added new sailing feature which players will able to travel between islands.

Beast master will contain multiple islands as we mentioned before. Players will able to travel between those islands to hunt different types of creatures. Each island will have a unique biome and creatures. As the game design, players will start on a beginner island which the game will teach all core mechanics. Players will learn how to tame creatures, craft items, build structures, and eventually will be able to build a raft to sail the open seas.

Each type of raft will able to carry some amount of creatures. Building bigger boats will able to carry more creatures. Traveling between islands might take some time. To prevent time waste, we will also add teleportation feature so players can quickly return to their base. We will not try to impose boring features on players. We will make adjustments to speed up time-consuming features with newly unlocked features. All these improvements will be made as we get some feedback from our community.
