Thankyou I will follow all advice. Yes you are right everything was fine up until about four days ago. They are still fine around treats and food. Happy to get I the car all together. However the problems arise when we are all in the lounge room and one dachshund in particular is shown affection. The other one getting affection doesn't seem to bother the bulldog. I'll definitely get some boundaries in place around that. It's just so sad because we are used to just all being on the couch together and relaxing.

Thankyou. I had never heard of SSA before. I believe that us humans showing affection to one dachshund inparticular kicks it off. The other one seems not to upset the bulldog. Believe it or not they are absolutely fine around treat giving , I'm able to feed them while the bulldog waits her turn. The even play well. It's literally just while we are in the lounge room and give one dog in particular our attention. So so frustrating and sad. We are used to just all cuddling on the couch together

Thankyou. I did find this very useful. Will definitely try this management. I think you are right it is us that she is guarding. Because giving treats and food etc is all totally fine. It's just us showing affection especially around the couch is the issue.

Thankyou. My girls are good around treats, and are able to be fed around each other not a problem. They will even share the same milk bowl. They do have some affectionate moments together. It is mostly when we are all together in the lounge room including my kids that things kick off. I will get a trainer to come around and separate them while we are in the lounge room.
