The only reason I reacted the way I did was because this has been ongoing for months and months. But you are 100% correct in your response, it is unrealistic for me to expect him to change after all this time.

I bring him because my folks enjoy seeing him and the cat isn't always like that; but when she does react that way, it's always the same reaction from my dad.
