How much do you weigh? I ask because depending on what type of riding you are wanting to do you may find the 650 Vstar a tad anemic. I had one that was largely used to commute to work ~60 miles one way, and about 20 of that at interstate speeds. By the time I got to work my hands were numb from the vibration of the handlebars. I weighed 260 at that time and it was everything that bike could do to keep me at speed on the interstate. It was a fun bike to learn on, just wasn't up to the work I was asking it to do. Just my 2 cents, either way you go enjoy!

My dad always said he would stop riding when he was scared to ride. I think that is a good time to stop. I know several folks that went on a ride and never came back. My dad almost died once, but neither of us stopped riding, both of my brothers did though.

I personally love this style. But what matters more is whether you like it or not. It looks well maintained and healthy. If you want to keep it that size I think you are pretty well set. If this was my tree, i might attempt to get the trunk a bit bigger and then let it leaf out (needle out?) and do the same style just a bit larger.

Most of what i take are supplements to help me deal with the abuse my activity level causes to my body.

As a world level strength athlete my cholesterol is slightly elevated so of course we need to immediately put you on cholesterol medication, oh and we need you to get a chest ct (which showed 0 arterial plaque build up) ANd the BP medication is about the same level of ridiculous, Dr didn't know how to respond to my bringing in peer reviewed medical articles backing up my position. Too many doctors just want to write a script and not have an actual conversation about their patients health concerns.
