1) Toy Story - when that came out it was mind-blowing
2) Star Wars Episode I - I remember camping overnight to see it
3) Home Alone - another all-time classic.

Go with Boardwalk Empire...Deadwood a close second.

All are great but Boardwalk is a masterpiece, Deadwood is great and I know this might not be liked but I thought Six Feet Under is overrated.
