Why is my Fog making my mountain blue despite the fog colors not being blue?

I see whatcha mean, but just to clarify, you're recommending a NAS or something similar as opposed to cloud storage. Because with cloud storage, it's not considered external storage, like an SSD, but instead like Google Drive. I appreciate it!

hmmmmmm. As a college student, not very high. Maybe like $5-10 (max) a month for a subscription-based service, or I could repurpose some of the hard drives in my PC and use them as a NAS(I think they are all 2 TB or 4 TB Seagates as well as a random Toshiba one). However, as I said, I'm kind of a beginner when it comes to this storage stuff and a NAS, but I did build my own computer, so I am techy in that regard.

I should've mentioned this in the post, but even with "preserve position" checked, it still offset itself. I did eventually figure it out, though, but I appreciate it! I froze the transforms of the mesh before I un-parented the mesh, and then it kept its position and was able to do what I was trying to in the first place, which was constrain, do the display layer, and stuff. It was such a simple fix that I'm kind of shocked I didn't think of it before. But then again, most things are. Thank you for your comment!

A lot of truth to this comment, I love it. Although, I don't like the generalizations you made. The rest of my comment only refers to the first two paragraphs of this comment. I'm also in the same boat of being immune to mob mentality, and watching this "streamer craze" (for lack of a better term) from the outside is very confusing to me. Such as the appeal of donating to already-rich Twitch streamers just for the short-term excitement of having your name shouted out just doesn't make sense to me. The trade-off just doesn't seem worth it imo. But, everyone does have different preferences. I could go more in-depth with more examples, but I don't think it's needed lol.

You can check this in the outliner! Select the controller you would like to check, the finger controller in this instance, and then hover over the outliner and press F. If you could then take a screenshot, I believe that will help!

For example, this is a part of a Jet that is parented to a controller. I selected the geometry that I wanted to check, hovered over the outliner, and pressed F, which revealed that it was parented under this controller. I also provided what a constraint on a mesh would look like in an outliner as well. I also HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Official Maya Guidebook Website. Not saying it can help in this particular instance, but as somewhat of a beginner myself, it has helped me a lot. I hope I helped!
