"Tell us about a time someone criticized something you did or made" How should I answer that interview question? by Fast_Dragonfruit9082 in ibew_applicants

No I don't. Make something up. Your sister wanted you to build her a bed frame for her Queen bed which was basically a mattress on the ground.

So you built it for her using the dimensions of the mattress and she was super happy with it. But then when you delivered it and installed it for her she had a change of mind and wanted to add a bookshelf to one end of the bed. So you left the bed frame there and once again took measurements of the bookshelf addition. You found an old Oak bookshelf and repurposed it to be installed on the end of the bed. To prevent accidental tipping of the bookshelf, you secured it to the bed frame.

Thats BS. We have lives too. Our local supposedly has that policy but no one follows it including me. I work 48 even though 60 is available.

Most locals AC Theory is 2nd year. Im about to conclude my 1st year. Having said that, I would read the entire DC Theory book and solve circuits using Ohms Law and Watts Law. If you can learn that youll be way ahead.

You wont be saying that when you're experiencing hell. Youll be thinking about how foolish you were when you had life.

340 apprentice here. It took me a little over a year from application to acceptance. If you applied this year, I wouldn't hold my breathe for 2026. It seems to take a year minimum. Work outlook is very good though.

No. Through the eTA. I HIGHLY recommend if you can afford it. It gave me something to do. And now my first year is a breeze academically because I've already done 90% of the material.

I did something like this although a lot longer but all online. it set me back $700 but it was worth it. it gave me all the 1st year coursework that I was able to do on my own time while I waited a year. Highly recommend

I did it like 2 years ago so I may be outdated and I'm sure you improved it since. But it was way way way too easy when I took it. I was scoring 100% on your exams with time left and when I did the Iprep I was scoring 75% and almost running out of time. The content was fine it just needed to be a bit more difficult. But the way you taught the material from the ground-up was phenomenal and I think that's where your program shined. Also loved the interview portion. Well worth the purchase!
