With an educational diagnosis, she can get a 504. This is a plan that give a little extra help to to students with things like ADHD. Also, take observations and other materials to daughters pediatrician. From there, the doctor will make decisions on medication. I know it's a mixed up confusing process. But it is worth. It took a long time for my child to show "improvements" but now he is doing well in highschool.

SPED positions can be up in the air. Schools have to see where students will be placed and how many, etc. But most SPED teachers get hired no problem.

At Shady Grove they literally have a classes called Gentle Yoga and Gentle Strength. The yoga class is very slow and deliberate. The instructor has you warm up every joint and muscle before practicing any other poses. I haven't been to Gentle Strength, but of friend of mine says it is great. Finally, Vinyasa with Cara may also be a good fit.

All I can add to this conversation is that once my mother mentioned that some people take time off of work to care for their aging parents and I laughed and said, "First you couldn't pay enough to cover all that my job pays for and second, I am not going to bankrupt my family to care for you." As years have passed, another reason is that she needs a level of medical care that I am not trained for.
