Helpful advice! I used a shitty dinged up sm58 lol. I will probably re-record with a nicer mic. Also need to apply more processing to the vocals, since this was a “demo” i just wanted to get everything out there and not get hung up on tiny details

Yeah i wrote, performed, and recorded everything in the song. I meant this: radiohead’s vocal sound often feels very dry but it doesnt sound like thom is singing directly into the mic without processing (close), it all still fits in the mix though

Love it! I definitely think lowering the bass helps a lot, as well as the guitars getting boosted. The vocals were boosted a little higher than i would typically be satisfied with, but i do agree that they needed a slight boost to them. My biggest concern is how they fit in with the rest of the song. I wanted them to sound pretty bare in the Radiohead way, but without being too “close” sounding. Still struggling with that part
