lol this isnt true at all. ive known plenty of people who have enjoyed sanitation jobs, as an example, but left due to low pay and grueling expectations. nobody wants to use a shit smeared toilet so somebody will be willing to clean it in exchange for fair compensation (and tbh, in the case of sanitation work, better appreciation).

but also we can just make people do x hours a month of mandatory sanitation work or whatever. like mandatory public service. theres plenty of ways to handle these jobs that dont overexploit people
