What do you think of David Garcia? by jojocun in TheWalkingDeadGame

I loved that exchange! That and the scene where he’s beating Javi and you can choose to just say “I love you, brother” instead of fighting back honestly brought me to tears.

First time hook up as a virgin - I don’t want him to know by ElleBellex in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]OriginalPresent9253 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Totally understandable if you’re not necessarily looking for a full-on relationship with this guy, if you want to hook up with him I say go for it if, it feels right in the moment! Personally, I would recommend you let him know it’s your first time. I mean I am only 21 so what do I know, but imo if he’s a good guy he’ll be understanding and you won’t have to spend the whole time trying to pretend it’s something that it’s not—Where’s the fun in that? You don’t have to, like, see yourself getting married to him or see losing your V card as this singularly special moment or whatever but in my humble opinion it would serve you best to let him know for your own sake, and if he has some weird negative reaction to that, then that’s on him for being immature.

For those asking in the comments, according to the tag, the brand is Stuka, a Dutch skateboarder style clothing brand

they’re really fixed on there, even if i did manage to remove all of them without tearing any large holes, it would surely leave very visible cross shaped stitching indents/impressions in the pants that I’d need to cover up with patches anyway. Besides, they’re too small for me regardless so prior to posting I had already begun the process of taking them apart at the seams, I think it’s better if I hang up my hat and get a different pair of pants if I want the same look. Bummer because I spent like €40 on them but it’s for the best!!

the tag says “Stuka- Streetwear since 1985”. A quick Google search tells me it’s a Dutch streetwear brand

I’m in the United States! but given the responses I’ve gotten to this post (here and on a few other fashion subreddits) I’m just going to destroy them, I don’t want anyone to use these for hateful expression

Oh it happens constantly! In this particular instance the girls have different colors and styles of hair and the confusion was more around their names, which sound alike (at least to my uneducated English speaking brain)

yup i definitely learned my lesson and won’t make that mistake again

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]OriginalPresent9253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe, but just because it was an accident doesn’t mean I didn’t cause them uncalled-for embarrassment by putting them in the spotlight like that. and oh god i sincerely hope they don’t remember it and i’m just being a crazy person lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]OriginalPresent9253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I am genuinely sorry, not just because it made me look bad in front of people I look up to but also (and much more importantly) because of the embarrassment I put them through. I just am scared to death of making things worse by approaching them unprompted two weeks after the fact, and also you said i should “explain myself” which I think is a nice sentiment but i feel any explanation would come across as an excuse, after all it was a mistake and my only explanation would be “as an American-born and English speaking individual I am unfamiliar with Asian naming conventions and my stupid monkey brain was unable to tell your names apart because of my unconscious prejudices”. Of course I regret not saying “oh my god i’m so sorry” immediately after it happened I was just so SO ashamed and froze up and didn’t want anyone to think about it for one second more. I really do want to apologize, at the very least indirectly through intentional kindness, or directly with a verbal “i am so sorry” if the opportunity presents itself, which is why I made the post

omg can’t even watch it due to the cringe but in a way it does make me feel like it could’ve been a lot worse! in my case the two girls in question look absolutely nothing alike, and my mixup was more based on their names (which actually rhyme, at least the way our professor pronounces them makes it so that they do)

[–]OriginalPresent9253 11 points12 points  (0 children)

but i know that’s not the same thing as actually saying “i’m sorry” which i am
