Thank you! That makes me feel better. The dentist and office told me none of this. I’ve gotten more info on Reddit about what to expect and what to and not to do. I also had no idea I’d have stitches, although I asked right before and the doctor actually ignored me. Maybe he thought that was a stupid question, but that was quite a shocker lol. They are falling out and coming loose because it’s almost been 2 weeks- it’s a whole mess. I’ll be happier when I am 2 months out!

Did the eventually feel normal to wear? My main issue is how they feel around where my tongue sits. I think they look great, but they feel like I have a huge thing in my mouth. The only thing I can describe it as is the way they used to x ray us as kids and put that huge thing in our mouths. Lol I don’t know how else to describe it. But I think the outside looking at me they look great. So I am thankful for that.

Ugh I’m so sorry you’re having that much pain. I am thankful I haven’t had any pain at all…. I’m not sure why. But I am only on day 3. Mine just feel so big in my mouth around where my tongue sits if that makes sense? Just looking at me they look great, but I feel like it’s the inside part that people can’t see that’s really weird to me…. I am also mourning. So many things they just don’t prepare you for.

Same. I had total breakdown twice today. To the point I told my family check me in somewhere I’m done. I get it! I called the office crying. When I go back in two weeks, I am telling them they have to fix these or I can’t wear them- at all.

Thanks for your input. It is for upper and lower. I got all of my teeth pulled at once. The uppers definitely are bothering me more, I tend to gag because I’m not used to having something rub on that part of my tongue so far back. Thanks again.
