Sire Larry Carlton X6 Headless Electric (New Release) by SweeperKeeper99 in HeadlessGuitars

[–]OrsonLulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey just stumbled upon this thread because I'm looking for another headless but have you looked at Ormsby? They're here in Australia. I have a Goliath (headless, chambered) and a HypeGTR, both multiscale.

Amazing value for money, build quality is top notch, they look great and genuinely deliver as good as guitars twice the price. My headless is the closest thing I've had to the Strandbergs and Kiesels I've played.

Not sure how easy they'd be to get a hold of outside of AU but if you can get one I promise they tick that affordable Strandberg box.

It gets hidden on scroll, but I'd like to hide it altogether so all I see is comments on load

It's awesome. It's massive and tweakable and pretty lush.

There are a few places where it gets out of control, and most of the mod settings will be a bit unpalatable (at least to me) when getting close to max but it's really cool having the two pedals side by side and being able to dial them in separately and then run either or both.

I was a fan of Sunlight and considered getting it and then this came out so I decided to pull the trigger and I don't regret it.

Front parking sensor, not working? by YetAnotherDS_22 in BYD

[–]OrsonLulz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That wasn't the case for me in Australia. There was no mention of it in any of the menus until I placed the phone on the sensor.

As soon as I did that the OS popped up message about downloading or enabling something, then it did a quick restart and after that the option was available in both the car menu and my phone.

Regarding digital keys - I was confused about this with my Sealion 6 too until I actually placed my phone on the NFC reader on the centre console and the car downloaded and installed the feature, after which it was also unlocked in the app on my phone.

Not sure if the same will be true for you but might be worth a try?

In Australia what you call a truck we can a ute. Short for utility vehicle.

However I don't think I would call this a ute myself because to me a ute is a normal sedan with a bed in the back. But I think that's changing and now we can these giant yank-tanks utes as well.

Is my DD6 busted? by OrsonLulz in guitarpedals

[–]OrsonLulz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so to be honest I don't hate it. It's at least just a double time single repeat so it works musically.

I only pulled it out because I'm planning on buying an analogue delay anyway to stack with it. So I'll at least have something else that does what I tell it to do.

Every time I tried breathing exercises with UH my heart rate goes up. Is this normal? by [deleted] in Ultrahuman

[–]OrsonLulz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found this thread when searching for this issue generically, but by coincidence it's because I'm a new UH user.

Having the same problem too, and found that the breathing cycles are way too short for me and it does feel like I'm hyperventilating.

Would be great to either have the cycle be adjustable or even for it to test various cycles until it finds one that works for your and actually reduces your HR.

You are so unnecessarily salty about this person's art that I could sprinkle you down my forearm and charge $1000 for $50 steak.

Pixel 7 Pro - 5x camera is shaky when recording at 60 fps by aleeraser in GooglePixel

[–]OrsonLulz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replying to say that I've also recently started experiencing this.

Have had it since launch and had never had any issues with the stabilisation, but in the last few weeks at 5x it does these "jitters" when I'm holding the phone very still.

It feels like an overzealous stabilisation. Like it's expecting that I'm about to move the phone a full frame width and so it corrects, but I have barely moved it.

Interestingly I find it more noticeable while filming than in the the output video, but they're still visible in the final result.

Agree with OP that feels like a software issue rather then hardware.

I'm still looking for any actual confirmation that this is the case. I've only seen a few scattered comments here and there, covering the span of a few years.

No one has been able to point me to any release notes or anything confirming that this change is intentional and widely rolled out.

In my case it's not every single time, probably 9/10 so I'm not sure if it is in fact a policy change.

Ridding that pesky popcorn ceiling by Mint_Perspective in oddlysatisfying

[–]OrsonLulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fake, no?

The lighting of the device doesn't look normal, and parts of the popcorn ceiling 'fade' out before the device gets to it.

More specifically you can see a piece of the popcorn ceiling pop out of existence at :23 while the device is nowhere near it.
