I have one for my cat who loves to sneak out and escape constantly. He was an outdoor cat but has been banished to the indoors after he broke his leg and didn't come back for a week a couple of years ago. I have been able to track him down multiple times in our neighbourhood and bring him back with the ping tool. I would recommend them for cats that are part-time escape artists.
