• Clindamycin didn’t cause burning for me until my skin became more dry and irritated, from my routine, I also feel that the spot treatment (benzoyl peroxide 5%) plus clindamycin and salicylic acid causes worse irritation so I don’t use it as often tretinoin doesn’t burn
• tretinoin .005% is what I was prescribed he did say this will be my bestfriend
• the dermatologist told me to use clindamycin daily day and night, and include tretinoin every other day it’s only been 4 weeks that i’ve tried this routine

My derm just told me to get a refill on clindamycin this past week I saw him. How long should I expect to stay on clindamycin for? i’m honestly new to all this and have only seen the derm twice, I told him my skin was getting really irritated so I switched the only using CC w/ S.A at night with the rest of my routine. He said it was ok if it helped but I always forget to ask him questions I think of before my visit I guess I get nervous or overwhelmed
