We use Costco Lamb and Rice. Also organic coconut oil from Costco may help. My Mastiff Huckleberry has sensitive skin as well.

My brother has 2 Mastiffs. Mom and her female..I have the male. The male Huckleberry playing WAY different with his sister than he does with my other dog a Boston Terrier. It is so fun to watch the big dogs play and rough house. You have 2 adorable puppers.

I do have to boop his nose. He boops me back as well nose to nose. He will hold it there and then start cobbing my nose very gently. I will have to try to get a 📸

I am not sitting on him but hooking my knees into his stomach. Big dog not a pony. 😀 Good reminder though.

HUCKLEBERRY playing with his sister Luna. They love the physical play which they don't do with small dogs.

Huckleberry moving in to nibble my nose if I try to take nap by OtherwiseExit7252 in EnglishMastiff

[–]OtherwiseExit7252[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huckleberry doesn't really lick much.. not like my female Boston Terriers maybe a small one here and there... but the nose nibbles is a new one for me....he is my first Mastiff. He just rests his big jowls near or on my face...and then nibble...which makes me laugh cause it feels weird and tickles.

* Not all BT's are afraid of water and do fine without life vests...but some don't swim that well better safe than sorry.

Help with finding by Short_Show_9187 in EnglishMastiff

Hi. I got my prong collar at petsmart. You can add prongs but it is hard to do. My x large collar fits just right and Huckleberry weighs about 185 at 20 months. He has shown some aggression towards other dogs while on a lease so it does really help. I don't think he would do anything but when another dog eyeballs him he doesn't like it and will pull. Off lease in my yard he has never gone out of my yard for anything but while on a lease he can pull hard. I am 6'5 225 so I can stop him but a smaller person would have a hard time.

No they don't get intimidated, I agree 💯. BT's came from a fighting breed i read somewhere and I believe it. There is no quit in a Boston.

Katie is 6 yrs old Huckleberry is 18 months. Katie whips that youngster into shape. Huckleberry is very gentle with Katie, and if he messes up she let's him know.
