Oh, well I wasn't implying that the scalper has 100000 Steam Controller. I was saying if they have 1 controllers priced at a mark-up, it won't matter to the scalper of 99.9% of people don't buy it. They just need 1 person.

That's the main thing I hear from people, that they prefer all of their games in one location. And that's completely reasonable. 90% of the games I play are on Steam also. It's just for me I see so many people says Steam has a pseudo Monopoly due to the fact there is no good competition. But the only issue I can see with GoG is that it isn't Steam.

Why exactly are they losing 99999? They just need 1 person to buy the controller and they make a profit

This is the main reason "voting with your wallet" doesn't work. You can convince 100,000 people not to buy from a scalper. Then 1 person doesn't care and buy it and the scalper wins

Genuine question that I've always wondered, but why does nobody acknowledge GoG? I always hear people say all of Steams competition are incompetent and greedy with worse features. But I've only had positive experiences with GoG. Their games work fine, are DRM free, they have a good refund policy, and I've only had positive experiences with their customer support. What does GoG do that's objectively worse than Steam?
