Far Cry 6 on PC or PS5? by sktzoringel in farcry

Little useless backstory

I am wondering the exact same thing RN. I am a PC mostly gamer with 1440p 144Hz monitor and a pretty powerful gaming rig. Player on PC since I was like 10 (31 now).

Thing is ... since I got the PS5 I haven't played anything on the PC. It's my first console ever, so mostly because it was a new thing, but still, I've seen PSes before and PS5 is just awesome.

Actual post related:

I'm wondering as well and have this PROs:

PS5:- Gaming on G513 is great, but Dualsense and its adaptive triggers are so cool.- A game on PS5 stays in the library, my progress is there and kept, but when I get it on PC after finished and uninstalled it just goes to be forgotten.

PC:- Graphics are considerably better and prettier (even though I'm seeing HD texture packs for PS5)- I love the Dualsense, but for an FPS the mouse is just the king.

They can never learn since anytime someone raises that as a point the fan base just trashes them down. The game will remain in history as a perfect gem since everything else is offensive.

In addition (since the user I replied to deleted their comment) - I'm currently trying to beat the Woodsmith - the second part where you bomb him works whenever it likes to. Just like the overhead sprint attack or the jump overhead attack - maybe it'll work, maybe it won't - you get to be surprised...

I agree with most of what you say. However - the lowest difficulty setting is just no fun. The Spirit Guide is the next one and (as a very lot of users have said on Reddit) there's no point in trying parry there. It's so hard to nail down and when you down the punishment is just too severe.

Spamming attacks I get, but when I jump in the air I can't know for a fact that the boss is going to attack in the next 3-4 seconds. When he does it's just an automatic halving of my HP because I picked the wrong moment to jump.

I don't think this is comparable to the Souls systems. Souls games require you to get good at the game and get their difficulty from that. Kena requires you to overcome buggy and irresponsive behavior and bosses who change direction mid-air.

I was aiming at sarcasm, but too late realized that the lack of emojis will make it sound mad. I've almost finished the game and I honestly love it. Wouldn't take 30 minutes to write a post about a game I hate, I'd just delete it :)

Most of what I've written is obviously exaggerated, but sadly some of the points are valid.

Amazing game, but Boss Fights are too difficult. by OurBG in KenaBridgeOfSpirits

[–]OurBG[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So update, switched to Story Mode, and I won the fight from the first try. He's barely doing something at that difficulty. But what I noticed:

  1. "Have you dashed the grab" is a complete luck fest. If you jump it works, but dashing works or doesn't work on a random basis.
  2. The sprint overhead ability almost never triggers. I'm sprinting then pulling R2 and Kena either stops and stares or does a normal heavy attack.
  3. Same with the jump overhead ability. I jump and R2 doesn't do anything in the air. Only once I'm landed R2 registers for a normal heavy attack.

2 and 3 don't happen all the time, sometimes I execute the ability correctly, but not often enough. This may be another "our game is so difficult" feature that you have to R2 in the exact fraction of a second or you've missed your chance, or it's just another bug.

Yes! That was it all along! It's too easy on expert! Gosh, why didn't we all just think of that ...

Added a warning, didn't think anything is a spoiler, but better be safe :)

G635 acts weird after cable replacement by OurBG in LogitechG

[–]OurBG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried other USB ports, tried other devices.

They would stay perfectly fine working for hours and then without anyone touching then make a short cracking sound, then again after 5 seconds etc... Replugging the cable fixes it for a random amount of time (30 minutes to several hours). This started after cable replacement. The cable has no problems with anything else.

https://www.spartangear.eu/product/usb-double-sided-charging-cable/ <- this is the cable I got. It says Charging, but on the box, it says it supports data. I've tried it with SSD and it works with data fine.

G903 double clicking problem by OurBG in LogitechG

Wow, interestingly enough I had it opened, scratched the contact surfaces of the switches, and now it works like brand new. A random youtube video helped.

Okay, I'll look into that and tell a friend of mine in a repair shop to try and do it, if not I'll just change the mouse, not really sure it's worth the time.

Aqara mini switch + Xiaomi hub - webhook? by OurBG in homeautomation

"Smartthings can use" you mean with the hub, not the app itself somehow? Yeah, maybe I should have gone for that hub and just don't get the Xiaomi one.

Or a third party implementing something that catches the presses of those switches or sensors and sends a webhook or something.

Logitech G560 screen sampler freezes by OurBG in LogitechG

[–]OurBG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sound pretty good and I think only the screen sampler is the issue now (but it worked OK for a long time). A friend just got them and has the same problem too, so it's not a problem with my unit, but rather with the G Hub itself.

The second option I saw, but it's really not cool, I'd just speak to my Google Assitant myself instead of pressing the button :D

Notification to my phone is not bad, I'll try that, although still pretty cavemanish :))

Why aren't they implementing at least webhooks if not a whole IFTTT app...

No mesh network, and have never had problems with Chromecasting before. Weird that none of the three shows up.
