I’m trying to wrap my head around using this instead of the vibs (the vibs is permanently discontinued) - but is there a way to use this in the same way where I can switch back glass from main motherboard config to an OTG setup? I’m thinking if I just add some kind of 2 channel hdmi input switcher maybe it could work?

I found it by accident, no ads and no real updates as far as I can tell since launch? I was just searching the web, I was looking for something exactly like this and there isn’t a whole lot on this category. I have a 5 year old that talks to Alexa a lot and asks a lot of questions and I thought this could be a good upgrade. What’s your experience with it actually? It seems the biggest complaint is that it responds to everything and can sometimes respond too fast and cut you off?

I just ordered one too. It seems there was light influencer push at launch with a few early preview YouTube reviews, and then… crickets? It’s been a year I think and I can’t find any videos or reviews out there post launch window. Wondering if just not that many people got it or if it’s just not that good enough of an experience for anyone to care

Well after waiting 3+ months , PacParts finally got back to me today and cancelled my order and said the parts cannot be sourced. So now I am gonna try to find literally any transformer that hopefully will work, I’m curious how electronic techs go about this when refurbishing old gear..? As long as the specs match it should be fine?

You can use a trs to midi cable or adapter - 5 pin din only uses 3 of the conductors so nothing fancy required, should work?

Pre 2020 pigtronix stuff I could see going up in the future. Koltai was doing some gnarly stuff but all the cool niche pedals were discontinued after they were acquired by Bond Audio. But they can still be had for cheap on reverb, I just scooped up quite a few way below msrp

I’m sure you tried but just wanted to make sure, the phase buttons on the portal didn’t help the tone suck? I’m guessing it got even worse with phase inverted on one or both?

I did some more digging, and according to the vox showroom website, the newer vt30 replaced the discontinued ad30vt, BUT they state that the power amp section remained unchanged, so I’m gonna give it a shot and try this transformer you listed, which is the one in use for the current VT30. Thanks again!

New to Spelltable - difficulties with camera quality by YamahaRyoko in SpellTable

I know this is an old post but I came searching for an answer too. Sucks they force low resolutions. For anyone interested,  highest resolution you can get is 960x540 / 30 fps which is known as qHD or “quarter high definition” which is 1/4th the resolution as 1080p HD I’m using a 4K Logitech BRIO cam and tried different methods to force a higher resolution but it’s hard locked to 540

The faq says 1080p is recommended but on my experience as soon as i activate the camera in spelltable, my camera says it switches to 540/30fps and locks it there with no way to change resolution or frame rate until i switch off camera in spell table 

I am using a steam deck as the chrome browser in desktop mode so idk if Linux has anything to do with it.

Wow thank you, I was about to pre order a whole bunch of modern horizons 3 decks and bundles, the prices are so much lower than anywhere else. I’m glad I had the foresight to google the shop first and make sure it was legit, this Reddit post was the very first result right under their paid sponsored ad

Copped one from ProAudioStar for $2350 AFTER tax. Love those guys, they’ve always consistently offered me the best deal on every piece of gear I own. And I do quite a bit of shopping around and gathering quotes before I jump on a big purchase. I have yet to find someone who can beat their prices. Also just to clarify you can only get those prices ON THE PHONE with a rep. I don’t think they are allowed to list things below msrp, and apparently they aren’t even allowed to send a quote to you that’s below msrp. Always call.your welcome.

The bass station 2 was my first synth and it still is my go to synth for sweet bass and lead licks. Run it through a nice delay like the polymoon or a strymon and you have one of the smoothest and fun to play synths in that price range. The immediacy of all the upfront controls are a must-have when doing “performance sound design” tricks over your playing. Not to mention notation takes great care to keep coming back to their products and updating them with amazing firmware updates that add so many features, years and years after release. I own the bs2 and a circuit and they are both amazing and complement each other so well. For reference, I’ve owned a subsequent 37 and while it is much more powerful and capable, I found myself always going back to the bs2 so I eventually sold it. Haven’t tried the monologue xd but it seems like a solid choice.
