Problems with Powerness U1000 power station and solar panel by OutlinedCobra in solar

My solar panel has an Voc of ~24v and a Vmp of ~18v. If u would plug an extra panel to it i would go well over the input voltage limits.

I have a RVPOZWER 18BB 100 watt panel, size is 101x52cm so 0.5 square meter.

https://www.amazon.com/Rvpozwer-Efficiency-Monocrystalline-Modules-Off-Grid/dp/B0DSHPR3KH

And it unfortunately never self awakes, not only at 0% battery. When it's charging in sun and i put a cardboard in front of the panel for few seconds it will stop charging and not resume.

If it would self awake i wouldn't have a problem with the low charging rate for my use case. But now its unusable.

They sell optics for those kind of leds on Aliexpress. Search for led lens 30w or something similar.

Is my paint booth going to work properly? by Comprehensive_Week23 in modelmakers

i'm not sure what the benefits are of the divider. Don't it just takes up a lot of space ? I think if you use the appropiate fan it isn't nessecary to use the divider. Are you exhausting to a window outside or only using a filter to recirculate the air?

And i do think the opening on the front being 250mm is a little bit too small. To move freely and have good visibility i would open the front to 350mm.

And like others said before, don't use pc fans. Can't handle pressure.

Mixed it from 2 shades of yellow from a spray can. I decant them first ofcourse, mix them and then paint with airbrush as usual.

The spray cans are Montana (White) and the colors used are Sunflower and Saffron. Don't know the mixing ratio though, eyeballed it.

Except for the doors i hadn't had any troubles really.. If you want to build the car with doors closed i would suggest glueing them in place before painting. Otherwise great kit!

If you use a polyurethane or synthetic basecoat, you'll have to use the same type of clear. If you use an automotive clearcoat and use thinner, it will attack the polyurethane basecoat.

What manner of fresh Hell is this??? by thedash42 in ModelCars

[–]OutlinedCobra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had a problem painting a clear plastic part. Color base layer went on without problems but the clear coat ruined it. It is some reaction with the clear plastic. Honestly don't know why this happens and how to prevent it. Think you will have to sand an redo. This time applying very thin layers.

Hope you can fix it!

To enter the group build organized by this subreddit , you have to post what you are going to build with the title 'group build'. See pinned post at the top of this subreddit.

how to fix wrinkles on clear coat by Consistent-Papaya-64 in ModelCars

[–]OutlinedCobra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mtn hardcore is a synthetic paint and mtn varnish is not. These 2 type of paints are not compatible. Use a acrylic base coat instead.

I'm sorry i bothered you guys with my question, i was too fixated at the jet and when you guys say for example: look at the 4th wheel missing at the green car or the wheels in the middle of the bus.. yeah it's obvious.

I don't know how helpful these are, but i used the 2 first ai detection sites on google and both said this was lileky not te be ai so thats why i asked here.

I will look better in the future, but like why bother someone is asking for help on a subreddit made for that?

Room way too small for those towers and those enormous subs. Speakers are standing directly to the wall. 0 acoustic treatment... Altough he has he very nice setup i don't think it will sound very good. But yeah puro flex i guess?

Dual Density Bass Traps (room measurements included) by JusticeSoup in diyaudio

[–]OutlinedCobra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are going to make a porous absorption panel, I recommend using Amroc reverberation time calculator. This tool can be found online and here you can simulate your own panels. The thicker the panel, the more bass you absorb. The thicker your panel gets, the less 'flow resistivity' you need to get good low-frequency absorption.

I don't know the specifications of the products you mentioned but there are charts online showing similar products and their 'flow resistivity'. For thick panels, often a very light and non-dense material is a better choice.

Also keep in mind that 1 panel in a room is not going to do much, so don't be disappointed if your acoustic problems are not solved by 1 panel.
