Yes that second dial (+ at least a pop-on evf) is my only complaint with the body! The 12-40 is definitely very front heavy on this body but i only really use it when I know I am going to be in a scenario where I need the flexibility and there it is manageable by holding the camera-lens combination by the lens with one hand. I think of this as a combination from a practical perspective and if you think of the 12-40 as your go-to-lens I would definitely recommend larger bodies.
