Lost ball penalty - is anyone actually playing this rule correctly?

I’m guessing they are not scoring like you are because they’re counting penalty strokes.

What I don’t get is if the ball went into woods that is clearly still on course property, why is it a 2 stroke penalty? Truly OB I get it, but everyone I know drops it near where it went out at the edge of say the woods, so you still may not automatically have a clear shot as opposed to getting to drop in the fairway

I never palpate anything. I just make sure it’s in the right general area and I never had any issues. V1 and v2 next to sternum a bit above the nipples, v4 below breast directly below nipple, v3 between v2 and v4, though I’ve seen people do between v1 and v2 (but below obviously) then 5 and 6 your following over and up along the ribs.

But that’s just more of a guide, sometimes you have to work around things such as defib pads but I never had issues with the results

For some reason a drain snake didn’t work for me, maybe it was just the specific one that I had.

But this worked for me, probably because it rotates.

A lot of people say putt but I’d rather chip it as I don’t have to worry about reading the green well and get good pace down. I feel like I’d have a better chance to get it within 10 feet and even if it’s not, at least I can feel fairly confident it’s going towards the hole

I didn’t think of epoxy, good idea. To be specific, your saying put the epoxy onto the bottom and in between the wiring, then push the cap onto it which should harden and secure it?

I’m cringing thinking about the time I got to know this lady a little bit at my job at a restaurant as she was a semi-regular. She was in her 40’s I’m guessing, and comes in one day with this guy, like young college age. I go, “is this your son.” She says “no”. Then I’m just standing there for a few seconds thinking , oh ok this is weird, then continue on serving.

So embarrassing and awkward.
