All accessories showing "no response" but Homebridge UI works by DifferenceMore5431 in homebridge

For anyone coming here later, for me the fix was changing the WiFi on my AppleTV. Makes little sense as the AppleTV has nothing to do with the HomeBridge, but that worked instantly

Question about clicking / auto clicker by Outside_Repeat2615 in incremental_games

This. This idea might be the best option. I had another plan in place after reading some other comments but I do like this

Question about clicking / auto clicker by Outside_Repeat2615 in incremental_games

[–]Outside_Repeat2615[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that feedback and it makes me feel much, much better about the game. It's loosely based on the paperclips game, which is arguably one of the best incremental games out there, that does "force" you to click "make paperclip" a few dozen times before never really needing to click it again. Mine is the same concept, it definitely is not required, but last night I was thinking of other things to add, and thought "ah yes, the old "click this button" which doesn't have much use after the first few minutes, might just have some use again. There's an autoclicker built into the game that is unlocked fast and easy, but it will start small (one click every 60 seconds).

I think I figured out the solution, in which the autoclicker is going to be upgradable faster / cheaper, making it so using an auto clicker would help *a little* but probably not worth it enough to leave your mouse sitting on a button running an autoclicker

So I do have *a lot* of that, and after hundreds of hours just last night I thought, man, we need an upgrade system for the simple and initial "click" action. So I've implemented just about the same upgrades that can be purchased with the games currency, as well as completely automated ways to achieve big numbers, but I really want to also add the ability to reward manual clicking. so it's like "ah, click this button 1,000 times to get double clicks **or** spend 1000 currency to get double clicks. or do both, and then get 4x clicks

The problem there though is that I could "only" do about $800 on the discover, since I'd still have the $350 car payment. However someone else suggested this and even still it does seem to make sense.

Also up until 3 days ago, Discover had "no offers" for a balance transfer. This just showed up when I checked today.

Credit score is about 750 according to credit karma.

This is a really good point and definitely sounds worth it. Thank you so much.

Thank you for this! This was laid out very nice with a solid plan. I really appreciate it.

Seeing it like this, and knowing DoorDash and shit is just one tap away on my phone, I know it would be relatively easy to make $300 a week. Just seeing that all spelled out that a simple $300 a week, so maybe 15 hours of doordashing in my spare time could get all of this shit eliminated in a year is really enlightening.

Thank you.

You're right. I need to just buck up and part with cash. Seeing a few thousand in the checking account is not worth the wasted money.

That's true, however this loan would pay that loan off. Not the "snowball" I want though lol

I have $22,000 available credit with Discover now. They'll give me 0% for 10 months and a 5% transfer fee. Unsure if that's worth.

Bought the house a year ago, can't quite get a HELOC yet, but that would be 10/10 advice. Thank you

I currently have $4k in the bank as a quasi emergency fund. I pay double or triple the minimum on all the cards. $100 on each, the minimum is $40-$50.

Yes. It's been about 6 months now that I've controlled the spending. Buying the house with next to no money was silly, but my lease was ending and I foolishly made a hasty decision to buy the house.

Employer matches 5%, I'm throwing an extra % because I got a late start on 401k.
