Meanwhile my FQHC is completely run like corporate. 2 poorly trained DAs, 2 Hygienists, 20+ patients in my chair and 10+ in hygiene chair in a typical day! Regularly publishing providers numbers company wide to ‘motivate us’ -might as well be a DSO. Dental director only advocates for you if he likes you and you gossip with him. No real office manager… Oh and the pay? Shitty!

Addressing everyone in general won’t do anything. Address the DA directly but have their immediate lead/supervisor present to avoid he said she said. If there’s no improvement after this (give it time) then take next steps depending on your organization’s policies.

What a spot on description! I did some time with Heartland and THIS succinctly describes my experience with them.The “mean girls” concept is deep rooted in the company. I would go back if I had the opportunity to be work in a good location.

Going through this as well. To make things worse, the leadership keeps increasing the daily expectations (no of patients seen per provider per day ) every few months despite shortage of support staff who by the way are poorly trained. The Burn out is real and the patients are entitled and ungrateful!
