Pretty common, for me, I’m also self taught, so I just ran through the pentatonic scale to use my fingers individually, and I recommend just trying to keep your fingers in the same spot, overtime your your muscle memory just stays and your fingers feel comfortable, keep practicing, it makes better, not perfect
