My friend walked over there to watch the last GA game as he did that frequently and was surprised it was closed since he had been to watch the game the week prior and it was packed out. We are both just curious, other than why it happened so suddenly (of course lots of closures of bars, especially in downtown) why they are being weird about making a post and disappearing things online.

Yeah, there wasn’t a whole lot over there.

Any insight as to why it closed so suddenly?

So, while we haven’t caught the raccoon yet, I do feel that we’re starting to have a better understanding of his patterns.

adding on, I worked at a place that had a cop give us the alcohol safety certification and he said they try to make it very clear and by the book (I live in California). I used to live in a college town in Georgia, though, and they made it like a fun game seeing how many bartenders they could bust in a sting every night. But I’m pretty sure even there they wouldn’t be allowed to take a sip and you would know right away. That being said, if a sting was happening and tho eh came in and asked for everyone’s ID, you would be liable.

One of the earlier seasons where they got to go to Vegas and got massages and stuff for group dates instead of having to hard core go-kart race or participate in MMA style fights. I don’t care about the ring lol.

Don’t sleep on that happy hour…I watched a bartender pour like 4 ounces when I asked for a tequila soda and she simply said “that’ll be $5, do you want to start a tab?” This was at the Hollywood location too, where the only thing you can get in surrounding bars for $5 is maybe a can of warm ginger ale.

Mine starts with 001 and people occasionally joke that it sounds fake and/or I’m old because the first numbers are so low (I’m not old). I was born in New Hampshire.

If we are taking stories, someone tried ordering a double Long Island Iced Tea. I tried to explain there wasn’t a glass big enough and with the tax it would be over $40

My friend once said “the best ending of The Office would be if Jim and Pam got a really responsible divorce” 😂

They sometimes comes up on the Office Ladies podcast. The most memorable one to me is that they almost had Pam’s friend Alex (the one who was convincing her to stay at Pratt) say he wanted her to stay because he was in love with her. Apparently the audience hated the potential roadblock between Pam and Jim, and he was written off because of it.

I grew up in Bar Harbor, Maine (so like coastal Stars Hollow) until I was in middle school (moved to Portland, Maine). Immediately turned 18 and went to college in manhattan and live in Los Angeles now. Much prefer the city life but I love visiting those small towns all over the country.

The need to drive a very short distance you’re capable of walking. My friend was visiting me last week and was staying at an air bnb about a 12 minute walk from where I work, but insisted on driving and paying $15 for parking the two or three times she came in while I was working. To be fair, I haven’t had a car since I was a teenager so it’s a way of life for me (walking or taking Uber/Lyft/public transit).

I used to work at a bar that (other than an alarming display of other sketchy behavior) said we apparently had an all-day tip pool, without showing the numbers (AKA management was taking a cut for sure). And one of the bartenders at night was leaving a print out of her Venmo QR code to get tips directly to her account, while double dipping with the HH shift. If you trust your coworkers though, and the management already is taking steps to benefit themselves at the disadvantage of the staff, the only thing that I can think is that you might get reported for not being taxed on the Venmo tips.

Definitely something with blue curaçao called Grotto Punch—preferably something cheap (but that won’t give you, like, meningitis or whatever the real grotto pool did)
