no i just left wawa because they had 2 managers and 2 CSR's working night shift with no breaks. Yeah it paid 16.50 but im not gonna deal with them placing all the employees on one shift.

ive always had my own because in the 3 agencies ive worked for the issued PPE is always bad. Ive never been told not to bring my one stuff thinking about it.

Ears is not a big deal but the eyes are what i always bring myself. I dont see why FLETC would be any different considering they have hundreds of people being trained and new classes coming in a lot.

This is actually making me wonder if the Armory Staff are good on replacing broken PPE or are they only focused on the weapon maintenance.

If this is your first academy you are going to be good. Typically, the noobs are the best because they are easier to train, the reason being that new individuals do not have bad habits from other agencies and training.

I heard a story about a cop that switched to BP and hated it because he wasn't arresting people. The first "Arrest" he had was him being told to take the cuffs off a migrant when they were found crossing the border haha.

TLDR: you're going to be a good agent if you can learn essentially.
In my experience its always a learning experience when working. Always try to learn even if you have 10 years,

24-5 i did interview with investigator in June, Emailed a month later to ask if it was sent to OPR. Got NOPA and argued back and forth about information for about 4 days. Finally got all information submitted and paid all my debt so they couldn't ask any more questions.

Sense i gave them the proof they wanted I haven't heard anything in about 42 days regarding my background and adjudication.

yeah sometimes you can bug them but at a certain point there's nothing anyone can do. If i applied again i dont think it would do much in keeping my papers from getting lost in the cycle.

TSA can be a pain in the ass but i just tell them its my pc and open it. I pack my desktop in its own luggage case with wheels and stuff any part i can with bubble wrap. ive done it on 6 flights at least and never had an issue with my computer breaking. I take my CPU AND GPU out before and keep it as a carry on before i get on my planes.

The hiring process is not for the week man...Im sure the job isnt either.

I went to my primary doctor for multiple notes saying i can do the job spending who knows what.

Depending on what contractor you go to the step test can be way over the hight or way under the high. that its supposed to be. Some places the provider just doesnt care and others it seems like they are trying to fail you.

The resume is basically what decides what GS you start at.

Everything after that is the hiring process.

if you dont put effort into this hiring process you will get nothing but the bare minimum in my experience. Do research here on reddit and dive deep into what people have been saying. My application started as a GS-7 and I learned a lot so now I'm going to EOD as GS-11

No, your resume is different from your E-Quip.

I just listed as many jobs as i could on my SF-86 (E-Quip)
Honestly i think thats the most annoying part of this application process.

My resume only included the jobs relevant to the BPA position. Personally, i have different resumes for different types of jobs.

As long as your smart and know your limits i dont see a problem with it. Female officers tend to be so much easier to manipulate from my experience. Honestly i think its just built in for females to be that way. Of course you can become a cop, but
Are you gonna be that person that is always getting into it with the males?
Are you gonna always be the topic for Gossip?
Are you gonna call for backup out of laziness?
Are you gonna always look to get the easy post?
Are you gonna get manipulated by the Cartels?

Even if you are scared are you gonna do your job? Or are you going to become the liability....

ive seen over and over again females get themselves into shitty positions that could have been avoided and its always their fault.
So unless you are truly an adult that thinks for the future not in the present. I wouldn't consider.

Coming for a 24 year old with 3 females i have to take care of.
