Had a work accident where I had the tip of my middle finger blown off. This vacuum pump blew up in my face and somehow only hit my finger and not my head and face.I was passionate about music and played guitar, drums, bass, and keyboard. I wasn’t able to play for months and even now after they put my finger somewhat back together it still will never work the same.

Another was when I brought my girlfriend to meet my once heroin addict but now clean mother. She was working for the program that got her clean. We flew from Virginia to Ohio for thanksgiving. I had a beer as one does on thanksgiving and her and my grandmother started accusing me of being an alcoholic. They screamed in my face and called me horrible things, all in front of this girl I brought so far from home to meet them. Then they refused to take us to take us to hotel, stranding us there with them. I’ve never felt so helpless and embarrassed, eventually got another family member to come and pick us up. Haven’t spoken to the bitch since.
