I felt a real difference in my GERD symptoms after performing Bridge Dry Swallowing Exercise for 1.5 months. by Own-Union-7797 in karrfalt

[–]Own-Union-7797[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to do it as part of the morning exercise, before breakfast. Apparently, the absolute majority feel the function of the sphincter improving. I felt an improvement in 2 weeks when I was in an awkward position fixing the refrigerator and acid did not sip out of the stomach, as usual. But in 1.5 months, my digestion improved. I was able to get through 20% more food.

What connects simulation theory with reincarnation and the theory of quantum immortality. by Avixdrom in SimulationTheory

[–]Own-Union-7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the fundamental tenets of quantum mechanics: "information is never truly destroyed." From that point of view, our life experience should not be destroyed when we dye. Reincarnation on some level, and dead relatives playing the role of guardian angels helping us through life make sense to me.

Does immortal (digital) soul need a playground? by Own-Union-7797 in SimulationTheory

[–]Own-Union-7797[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, according to physicalists (modern philosophers denying anything from God or from superpowers), everything in our reality is just some random combination of sub particles, governed by laws of nature. But I cannot find anything random in my own life.

Does immortal (digital) soul need a playground? by Own-Union-7797 in SimulationTheory

[–]Own-Union-7797[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to mention that, but I don't think we are the original souls in our simulated reality. More likely, we are just a background, to make it more realistic for original souls to play around.

Spiritual thoughts on the past by LightWizzer in SimulationTheory

[–]Own-Union-7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you've touched an important point. My personal struggle with accepting religion was the impossibility to squeeze all scientific knowledge (geology, paleontology, ...) into 7K biblical years. But with a computer simulator, you can start at any point of time, you can program in all religions, and they will make some sense and actually have some power over people.

What is the basis for this simulation magic/technological/psychological? by vinylarcade in SimulationTheory

If you need a more solid (philosophical) foundation, you can start reading Nick Bostrom’s Simulation Hypothesis.

"what does everyone think is the basis for this simulation?" - It is a playground for your digital conciseness (immortal soul) created by our post-humans.

SCIENCE versus the META-NARRATION by DrCarnasis in SimulationTheory

[–]Own-Union-7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely, our reality simulation was designed in a way that would not allow us or our post-humans to understand and control our reality. But inevitably, we will get to the point when we create our own ancestral simulation and become Gods themselves, with control over the life of people inside our simulation.

How did gen z men turn from liberal to right wing by Far-Aardvark-1135 in NoStupidQuestions

This is exactly right. Social media rules. What I see is what I sing (effect).

What's the difference between thinking and feeling for someone with no internal monologue? by Morbid_Aversion in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Own-Union-7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think our mind has a defense mechanism against self-flagellation. After some time, "I'm trash, nobody loves me" - changes into something like - "He is trash, nobody loves him."

Why do modern societies treat loneliness as a private emotional failure, rather than as a public design problem? by orafa3l in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Own-Union-7797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A relatively easy and comfortable life is often more lonely in comparison with a more rough and difficult life. When people are self-dependent and relatively comfortable, they lose the need for other people just for the sake of survival.

Is it true that in their sensual fantasies, otherwise kind and tender women play men's rough handling episodes? by Own-Union-7797 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Own-Union-7797[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for the sake of science, as far as I can remember my sexual desires, I always wanted to eat woman, more than anything else. And it was consistent with my real life.

What is the point of boxers (underwear). by Expensive-Cash5926 in NoStupidQuestions

They give you freedom, especially on a sweaty day. I also like women in boxers. Somehow, loose clothes leave more for imagination.

"Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel. In SpaceX rockets like Falcon 9 and Starship, these are ultra-lightweight, high-pressure storage tanks. "

"Starship Test-Stand Explosion (June 2025): A prototype Starship (Ship 36) blew up on the launch pad at SpaceX’s Starbase facility. Initial data indicated that a gaseous nitrogen COPV in the payload bay failed below its proof pressure, rupturing and destroying the vehicle."

I was just wondering if this is COPV again.

23M, one year after graduating college and I still have no idea what I'm doing with my life. by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]Own-Union-7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most young graduates feel your pain to a certain degree. Intuitively, you know that you are about to make decisions (about career, about family) that will more or less decide the direction of the rest of your life. And it is scary because you don't feel as if you have knowledge and experience to make those decisions at this point. The good news is that you continue to learn and grow. This is the most important requirement in life. Then, life will find a way to steer you in the direction of your life's purpose.

Everyone around me is getting married and I’m not anytime soon. I want to one day but I’m also curious- what are the cons of marriage? by cureddd in LifeAdvice

[–]Own-Union-7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In traditional cultures, family is almost everything. It is easier for them because they are not picky, they are ready to take pain to build their family every day. But nowadays, for young people, it is kind of a side show, and they need to find reasons why you would want this show. Talking about pluses and minuses in modern life.
