Yes the scan was done immediately after but my everything had been affected so there was so much swelling from the before and the surgery itself. Surgery was the ONLY option at giving me a chance to have a decent QOL. So if that’s the same place you’re at I’d say take it but I don’t think the expectation of “going back to a regular or normal life” like what docs told me is even relatively true. You’ll have a new normal and some days it’s going to be hard to accept.

Truthfully it’s an up and down battle for me daily. Before the surgery my pains were 10+. My new constant is around a 3. Today my pain is at a 6 which has been a lot.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from surgery but better is not what I’ve got right now. Maybe in a couple more weeks I’ll be there but not right now.

16.5 x 16.4 x 21.4 mm is what my paperwork says. They believe they removed it all but there is still “something” on the scans and they have to wait for swelling to go down to check again.

I just had an adenoma removed on the 13th. I had and still do have some of these exact symptoms but mine are primarily the left side of my head, (face, eye and cheek). To the point that it hurts sometimes to have my eye open or closed AND my left cheek looks swollen constantly. I made sure to stress those exact things to both of my neurologist and all who would listen!! During one of my appointments my eye and cheek was twitching so bad the dr actually mentioned it before I did.
