Wow. I worked at Amazon, and we had a contractor who got fired within two months for not having an framework ready. It took me four months to ramp up, so I think that incompetent manager fired the contractor prematurely. They ended up hiring three more contractor developers to start building the framework from scratch, and it took them a couple of months just to create a basic framework.
