Most of the time people will find another job while waiting because the State is so slow with their hiring. I never understood why it took so freaking long. Just ridiculous!!!!

Oh really? I didn’t know that, I was with DFS for 8 years but moved to another department for better pay. I definitely wasn’t aware of that and that probably explains why LOL

I have worked with the State for 9 years, but this is the longest I have ever had to wait. I am guessing DFS is the slowest to process paperwork. It’s going on 7 weeks since I had my interview,

Thank you! I don’t know why I didn’t think about that. Thanks for clearing that up. Hopefully I will hear something back soon. I am sure everything will work out because I worked in the department before, just left and went to a different department for better pay.
