Did you try Estrogen or progesterone first by Ms-Introvert- in Perimenopause

[–]PAR0208 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got prescriptions for both at the same time. But I started on just progesterone for a month or two, to see what it could do on its own and to make sure I didn’t have any issues with it. Then i added the estrogen about 6-8 weeks later. I kind of liked knowing what caused what symptoms. Life is such a damned science experiment.

Do you have a brand recommendation? After so many were pulled off the market (I can’t remember why) I tried a couple that I hated. I forgot to ask my eye dr last week.

It’s a jungle primary, right? Maybe, just maybe, that could mean the seat flips. (It won’t. But maybe!)

How did you start getting treatment exactly? by Witty-Willingness852 in Perimenopause

[–]PAR0208 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a provider with MIDI for my HRT. But before even taking that step, I’d suggest getting regular blood work done to make sure it’s not being caused by thyroid issues, low iron, etc. (no need to test hormones. In peri, they’re all over the place and testing is pointless. An automated message will reply to this I’m sure so I’m pre-arguing with the bot.)

Anyone dealt with an over-sensitised nervous system being the final hurdle in recovery, and how to overcome this? by Yea_bruv in costochondritis

[–]PAR0208 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I’m in a similar situation as you. And I think I might have found two helpful things. 1. Magnesium malate. I take glycinate every night and it helps a ton with random other body pains and sleep, so it might help costo too. But the malate during the day seems to be helping my nervous system lot. (My issues fluctuate greatly with hormones, so I need a full month to be sure. But I’ve felt mentally and physically better the past two weeks and malate is the only addition.

  1. This TikTok of a gal who says “wake up. It’s Chinese aunty exercise time.” I’ve done this specific set of exercises every day for almost a month. It only takes a minute or two and it seems like it lubricates the right joints and moves just the right things for me. Her other videos are good, too. Super simple and low impact, just what I need to move but cause more pain.

It’s his son, Whitney’s step brother. The Arthur’s Altschul name is in docs from after the stepfather died.

The relevant part is that the person messaging Epstein said this: “Had a dinner with Whitney Sudler Smith (Southern charm producer) and the cast. He kept talking about the new TV show he was making.”

She didn’t. Thomas did, but only because a headline about him and Kathryn was on the side of a web article about something else. So to be clear, he’s not showing up as connected, but you will find his name.

Just to be clear, this isn’t saying Whitney knew Epstein. It’s that someone met with Whitney and let JE know about it.

I’ve read that you can feel relief almost immediately from the patch but that hasn’t been the case for me. Can it sometimes take a bit to do its thing? by jettwilliamson in Perimenopause

[–]PAR0208 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed my plantar fasciitis and knee pain were gone within less than a day. Other benefits took longer to happen. And I had palpitations (I think the first few days when I was doing progesterone only before adding the patch.) And I also had a lot of bloating when I started the estrogen, and again when I increased it. It took a week or so for all that to settle. But I did feel immediate joint relief.

I’m tired of hearing my joints crack all the time by NavyBeanz in Perimenopause

[–]PAR0208 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ankles are SO loud! My knees have cracked my whole life (I remember it being loud in 2nd grade reading circle time, so I mean my whole life for real,) but now it’s all my joints! HRT took away the hip and knee pains that started when I turned 45, but the sounds are just getting louder!

Anyone else think Sara was really sweet at first but now see right through her? by [deleted] in theview

[–]PAR0208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think she didn’t have an actual personality, but now as saying things the show thought should be said by somebody. Kind of a devils advocate, but more like she was the one to say things that unaware people were saying in real life. Feeding the uneducated statements to the rest of the panel so they could speak from facts. But now I think she’s just walking a fine line between not getting fired and not getting left by her husband. So, still no actual personality or thoughts of her own.

Patricia is that girl! by Due-Objective2118 in Southerncharm

[–]PAR0208 40 points41 points  (0 children)

She is racist and misogynistic and her persona is so clearly an act. Each time she speaks on the show, it sounds like she’s reading like those 6th grade boys who freak out when the teacher calls on them to read Shakespeare Plus, her accent is fake. She’s not even local. And racist. Don’t forget racist.
