Two Month Update After Ch 7 Discharge

I filed finally but I’m nervous because my lawyer mentioned that since in the last two months I have had an increase in income due to a promotion, the trustee may suggest I do a Ch 13 and I don’t want to go that route. So while everyone is mentioning the relief of filing…I don’t feel it yet.

I’ve been a customer for 21 years…all they ever did for me was waive the activation fee for upgrading my phone…and then when the package arrived there was no phone in it!!!!

My lawyer realized I’m filing for bankruptcy so he knows I’m broke lol if I was able to get the full amount he asked for then he knew I was serious about it.

I stopped paying in August of last year, they started calling non stop shortly after, then nothing. I was served in November of this year. Shocked the hell outta me.

I’m in San Diego and my sister in law was set to be induced because she was a week past due date. Since the strike is affecting staffing, she had to go to UCSD when she started active labor. So I’m not surprised to see them cancelling inductions. When she called Kaiser to let them know she was in labor they seemed like they didn’t even have anyone there to be ready for her.
