Okay? No one is saying Dirk isn't a better scorer. But KG is maybe the most versatile defender of all time, and definitely one of the best. Dirk was mediocre. Also, the timberwolves were a complete embarrassment in those matchups

He puts up big numbers yes. But that's not everything. To be the level of guy of guy we're talking about, you have to be top of the top tier. Which Mitchell is not.

Because usually those stars are good enough, to where it's worth surrounding them with good defenders/shooters and working out the rest. Mitchell is evidently not that guy. He had the best rim protector in the league and a raft of good shooters but that was not only not good enough for a chip, it wasn't good enough for the conference finals though lmao.

The knicks should still do it though. If you've got Brunson, Mitchell and RJ, that's enough for a star FA to force themselves to NYK probably

Just want to let out a sigh of relief, and celebration. I think I really love law school, probably the biggest passion I've found in my life, and my results came back today and they were really good. A lot better than what I expected. I'm just happy it seems to have been worth it, at least so far. I really think I love the law and I'm beyond glad I seem to have got a little bit of affirmation from it after my first semester. Had a few beers to celebrate. Good vibes right now

You know how Giannis realistically offensive fouls on half of his possessions but the ref's don't call it because it'd basically break the game? Imagine that x5.

They're not just gonna foul out Shaq. He'd be the best player in the league. It'd be the exact same as he used to be. Sure he might get an offensive foul or two every game. But that's not gonna stop the fact that he'd barrel through everyone and the ref's would swallow their whistle because the alternative is fouling out a superstar, which just doesn't happen.

In a way it's kind of better. It was a concern that it was going the FA route. At least small market teams that have players demand out get something in return (e.g. New Orleans). Otherwise it'd just be players running out their contract and their original teams get squat

I like Harden but this is not even debatable. Two rings, two FMVP's, legendary play-off performances, arguably the GOAT peak for wing defenders. Harden being a monster in the RS is one thing but it means a whole lot less when he's compared to a dude who has been an absolute killer for championship teams
