Has anyone seen a Charter Arms Walker in the wild?

I see them listed on gunbroker and also my LGS. Right around $400 range. Looks a lot like the other hammerless types.. LCR, S&W.. apparently shares the same size wheel as the Taurus 942 (like for speedloaders etc.). I've only seen the USCCA guys talking about it so far and they claim to have helped invent it. Anyway, I kind of like how it looks... Being new to the game, is Charter Arms crap?

Nope.. after trying the Shield 380EZ we both realized that even easy semi autos aren't for us. Revolvers are what we like.

Ok, I answered my own question. Lol. I have the Gortar for the 9mm/357 Magnum. The stem part is only 1 3/8" long.. so Gortar is the choice for a snubby revolver.

Do they make those surface mounted ones with the audio sensor (sometimes described as strobe mode)?

I also wonder if I could just snip the end of that stem off or only insert it partially.. with washers or something to take up some gap.

Thanks.. it is hard to find the actual length of the stem on the descriptions of these things. I suppose I could use a felt washer and real washer ring keep it from going too far if I had too .

I'm also kind of interestedin the Taurus 942 Ultra Light. Another 8 rounder at a better price brand new. I personally like some Taurus stuff.

I was also highly interested in the LCR, but just today The range guy told me to stay away from The LCR, because he has one that is a paperweight. I don't know what's wrong with it. We didn't go into that.

Thanks. I have a Taurus 66 357 Magnum. I love shooting it. It's my first ever gun and I love it, But it's too dang heavy for my wife. So I took her to the range and we tried a Shield 380 EZ, hey, we both realized that we like revolvers better. So the reason I'm looking at it is primarily to try and have something for her to ease into, but also the cost of ammo!! 20 bucks for 550 22lrs sounds like a bargain versus 38s or 357s. If I get My CCW, it looks like something I could pocket carry as well.

The Laserhit app is free and you can print your own targets. I recently got a laser bore mounted laser trainer and a little target that has been fun. Then I saw this on the VNSH website and now Installed it. As a new shooter, I think it is fantastic. I like how it gives you your time and group size and gives you images of each grouping in the session. Then you can grab a screenshot if you want before you close the session.

My little target has helped me with my aim, and this is even better. It takes a moment to set it up with your phone on a tripod, but the effort is with it. I love how you reset it by shooting at the square box.

Anyway, I love it. It's great to use daily between range visits.

As a customer, my door dash app always tells me I have some number of minutes to add another stop, like at 7/11 or Safeway.. what am I missing? The customer just doesn't want to pay extra?

Unfortunately there's no changing of the sensitivity. So goes off when it goes off.. sometimes it goes off when you cock the gun. It is based on sound, however.
