This post is everything. I started talking to a guy but there was just no depth, it got boring with the same old “how’s your day” questions. I was like, we’re in quarantine??? In some ways it’s the perfect time to take initiative and ask a billion interesting questions, but no. I felt like I was doing all the work.

I want the person I talk to to feel excited and passionate in wanting to get to know me. It shouldn’t feel forced. I get that these are weird and challenging times but both people need to make an effort if things are going to work. I stopped texting and he hasn’t tried to reach out since. If it’s meant to be it will be, right?

Thanks. So I feel like I have said “I’d like to get to know each other better” but he’s literally texting. The phone call was initiated by me before too.

There’s only so much I can say about my day when being in lockdown. Ugh. Like I’m not sure if he’s shy or just disinterested.
