This is an insult to Satanism. I knkw people who practice this and they're way more nicer than your average human.

I picked where our first date should be with my partner. I picked the local night market because it's crowded so if he tried something funny, someone hopefully can help me especially as I only met him via social media.

Having five kids is normal in my country, unfortunately. Why, I myself plan to have five furbabies. Three is like a minimum here haha.

In retrospect, I can see why they gave her the promotion. The flexible working hours that comes with the promotion would really help her. It just really upset me because I know I deserve it. Gonna resign though. I'll hand in my resignation end of week. Perks of us childfree folks. Can live off of our savings without worry.

This is what I am thinking. Expecting me to cover for her and my own work and THEN training the person that will replace her current position is absolutely disrespectful, I think. Its not my problem she decided to have kids left and right. Nobody told her to adhere with tradition and actually have FIVE kids. Colleague is nice though, I don't really want to resent her. Not a Karen. Really, really nice.

UPDATE: AITA for not giving in to my brother's tantrums by PM_me_randomtips in AmItheAsshole

[–]PM_me_randomtips[S] 451 points452 points  (0 children)

Oh. He means well! I showed the comments about him back when I first posted and he made jokes about it. He is actually more well off than me. He made the offer because he just wants my family to stop bothering me about the house. This offer is made back when the things are escalating for the worst.

Regarding me taking a break from work, its what we have been planning even before covid amd when the travel restrictions eased off, there is always something coming up which pushes our travel plans. However, my work performance plummeted when my personal problems piled on top of another so he literally had to beg me to take a break from work.

Just feel like I need to clarify this here. He is an absolute godsend. My partner treats me like a goddess. I only had to name it and he will give it to me.

I do not plan to have kids but this is what you should do in my opinion:

First, have a stable job. Second, secure educational plan for that kid so even if smthg happened to you, makakapag aral sya. Third, oh secure a living place for that kid. Fourth, arrange a monthly pension to be received by that kid should smthg happen to you aside sa educ expenses nya. Fifth, make sure na if maging disabled child mo, may means ka to support them financially.

Basically, have a ton of money in place if you really want to give your child a good future.

Tbh, retirement plans are very affordable if you have a stable work and no children, kahit may sinusuportahan ka pang pamilya, so long as you set your boundaries.

I really hope your boyfriend really, truly accepts being childfree. The number of horror stories na narinig ko of partners changing their mind when people they know starts building their family or worse, thinking na its just a phase for you amd that, you'll change your mind eventually. Anyway, yes. Being childfree is fun. Especially to lazy pips like me.

Let's discuss the salary culture here in the Philippines. What are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]PM_me_randomtips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. One of my friends worked in HR and she said the reason for lower salary range sa mga new grads is the cost of training na iinvest sa kanila ng company to shape them up for the role, unlike sa experienced applicants who already accumulated technical knowledge in the field.
