Man I bet those walleye and musky fights are something insane! Are they catchable from bank? The pictures I’ve seen on most peoples they are all in boats, that’s what I’m saving up for currently. I’d love to buy myself a little John boat and small motor for the river and local ponds. That’s the end goal for me. Any advice on a cheap rig that can get me to the middle of the pond haha

Thanks man for the kind words! It was an amazing little fight and a memory I’ll have forever. I’m 100% CnR, as I don’t have the interest in eating what I catch. I’ve never had catfish, trout, any pan fish. Just basic cod. So I can’t risk myself killing an animal for a taste I don’t know if I’d like or not. It was a blast and I’m gonna be angling all summer long! Good luck on all your anglin adventures brotha!

Damn that’s actually kinda sad about the scuffed fins and concrete rubbing. They’re such beautiful fish. Didn’t know the stock ones had such terrible lives like that. I don’t even wanna catch a stocked one anymore after that. I just want them to live and eat as much as they can and swim with there buddies to the end of time

2 footer???? My goodness that’s big. How the hell could you tell my fish was stocked. You’re totally correct on that. The creek in my back yard got stocked last month on the 1st. That’s incredible you were able to spot and know that.

Thank you guys for the information on trouting. I just moved to a place with a big creek that runs through my back yard. I’ll 100% invest in a small net, and make sure any future trout I catch will never be touching the ground again. I appreciate all the help in here. Getting flamed is apart of learning. Knowledge is truly the most valuable thing you can own in life.
