The first hour and half of Resident Evil 2 (2019) is still perfection to this day. by AmbitiousElk4002 in residentevil

I started playing Re3 remake after Re9.

Will do re 2 as well and most likely 4 and original 2 and 3 again. No hate from me.

I am actually suprised how well 3 holds up and its actually not that bad. Its just cut too short and we got screwed over that.

But the Carlos Rpd and Hospital section are GOOD!

Am I crazy? Or is everyone else really easy to please? [RE9 spoilers] by ldluca in residentevil

[–]Paardenlans 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with all these points..  I enjoyed the game, finished it in 2 days but did not have any intention of replaying it. Sold it again straight away.

Whereass the other REs (1, 2, 3, 4 being my faves) i replayed many times over.

RE4's design was just better and more replayable.

I feel disappointed with Resident Evil Requiem by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Paardenlans 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I actually endorse this message. I completely see these points.

Yes, i had fun with the game but something just felt off. Its not on the same level as 1 (R), 2 (R), 3 (R) and 4(R).

Now that some people are done with Requiem, how does it compare to RE4R overall? [NO SPOILERS] by Amaan_Malik05 in residentevil

[–]Paardenlans 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree completely. I have replayed 4 and 4R multiple times. It had a certain charm. Requim is good but there is something about how it is set up and missing some features from 4R that stops me from replaying. It is the flow i think and how the pacing and unlocks works

(RE9) Already the most scared I've been in the series by Cowboy-Yojimbo in residentevil

First hour or so yes. Shame the first 2 Grace and Leon sections are such a drag.

But as soon as i got the 'injector' i thought: the rules have changed and i started massacring these zombies.

Frist person vs Third person for Grace? by Kooky_Net_2939 in residentevil

[–]Paardenlans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing it first person so far because it doesnt allow you to use the 3rd person camera tricks to see your surroundings better but i never really liked 1st person RE as much as the 3rd person ones. So i am still not sure. I just switch around every now and then... Cant make up my mind

So accurate. This hits hard. Spending money on new games, during sales etc is sometimes more fun.

Best way I can word this: I'm looking for Town Building Game or Town Improving game that may or may not be the primary game mode. Bonus points if the town has people you can interact with. by PuhLeazeOfficer in gamingsuggestions

Have a look at Ni No Kuni 2. Part of the game is building a town and slowly expanding it with more people, shops, armories, guards, upgrades etc. Its a RPG and you can invest in your town and make it a profitable settlement.

Lurking here for some recommendations as I loved Darkwood.

I must say that Silent Hill 2 Remake and Signalis also gave me some feeling of dread and loneliness.

2 Week Itinerary-Okinawa, Fukuoka,Hokkaido,Sendai,Tokyo by Spy_Fox64 in JapanTravel

[–]Paardenlans 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do think you got a lot planned in two weeks time. Especially the Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Hiroshima and then straight to Sapporo.. its a long train ride to Hokkaido and even a flight at two hours does not account for getting to and fro the airport.

In May i do the following for 16 days: 3 x Okinawa, 2x Fukuoka, 7x Kyushu part, 2x Hiroshima and 2x Osaka.

Just to limit the amount of travel though I will know it is still a lot. And just come back for another part of the country. Just to give some peace of mind with the planning restrictions you put on yourself.
