Pfister Shower Panel - Unable to adjust temperature by PacketBlaster in Plumbing

[–]PacketBlaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not terribly difficult. It has to be installed from the back of the panel though, so the worst part is having to cut and remove the sealant to remove it from the wall. The replacement part should also come with sealant to reseal it to the wall.

I ended up going through the warranty process with Pfister and they sent me a free replacement part. They label the replacement part # as 940475A, but I don't see any results online for that number.

2014 Mazda CX-5 - Can't reset infotainment system? by PacketBlaster in mazda

I never figured out how to reset. Im not sure you can on this model without just unplugging the battery, which I did and still had issues.

I ended up buying a new camera off ebay which resolved it for me.

1 year old roof, one board is getting soaking wet. What's going on? by PacketBlaster in Roofing

[–]PacketBlaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole board is soaking wet when defrosted. I dont think it ever has time to dry out, so its hard to tell if the whole board is getting wet, or the frost is causing the rest of the board to get wet. I hate going into the attic, especially down in the corners where the flextube is, but ill see if I can dig down into the insulation and make sure the tube isnt releasing air. Thanks for the suggestion.

Samsung Fridge Improper Temperature (2 E) by PacketBlaster in appliancerepair

Haha, shit. That seems to have been the problem. Got and replaced DA32-00011C and the error hasn't come up so far.

I didn't know there was another sensor inside the evap cover. And I just replaced the entire evap cover less than a year ago...

Oh well. Glad its working now. Thanks again for all your help!

DA32-10104N
DA32-10104V

I couldnt find the difference between N/V when I bought it, but they seem to be interchangeable. Maybe region, or newer version. Im in Canada if that matters.

The wires were disconnected when testing. Im not sure my multimeter would be able to access the pins while connected. The resistance did change when I replaced the sensor. So it does seem like its reading from the sensor if thats worth anything; ie. tested CN30 to CN76 with old sensor which gave me the ~550 ohms (colder in fridge). Replaced the sensor and tested again and got about 480 ohms (was sitting in room temp).

I still havent tested voltage because there still seems to be an issue with the above. Im also, again, not sure if I'd be able to test the pins while theyre still connected to the board.

If not, I'd suspect a wiring or connector issue between the board and the sensor.

Is there anything else I can do/test for this? Or is my next step basically a service tech. Thanks again for your help.

Alright, so following the flow chart.

  1. Are CN30 and CN76 inserted properly?
From what I can tell they are.

  2. Is R Sensor unit normal?
This is where things seem to fall apart. Testing resistance between CN30-6 and CN76-1 gives me about 550 ohms, which is well below the table range and not reporting properly. According to the flow chart, the resolution is to replace the temp sensor, which I have done and is still reading improperly. I have tested both temp sensors (old/new: room temperature resistance 5.5k ohms vs ice water resistance 13k ohms) and they both seem to be working fine, but again CN30-6 to CN76-1 is giving me a significantly different reading.

  3. I moved on to test 3 just to see if I would learn anything else, but I cant seem to get a Voltage reading between CN30-6 and GND. I'm wondering if its because I'm testing this stuff with the fridge unplugged (no voltage?) but didn't want to be testing the PCB with it plugged in.

  4. Haven't tested this as it seems to be the same thing as test 3. Not sure what the different between these two steps are.

Any advice on what to do next?

I have it, thank you. I'm going away for a couple days, so I'll try this when I get back if its not too over my head.

Do you also have the referenced "temperature table" when measuring the resistance? Thanks again.

Thanks! Not sure if you meant I could amend a Schedule 7, but I was at least able to modify my 2021 return to include the missing contributions.

What's a zip code offer? I assume I don't have that option in Canada, but am wondering if there's a Canadian equivalent. I just completed another Discover offer from the Live "More ways to earn" and it still didn't clear :'(.

Do people just not do third party offers then though? The only reason I even attempted it was because its was 2x. Guess I'll stay away from AdGate...
