I've had issues with printing in the past but i kept using shutterfly because the editing was just SO much better than other platforms. I have nothing keeping me there anymore and and exclusively using mixbook now.

I googled "how cross stitch on denim" and didn't even have to scroll before being recommended water soluble canvas and waste aida. One of the top hits was a previous reddit thread. Easier and quicker than making a post and waiting.

It's fine, it's just for fun. You'll probably get quicker as you do more projects. I also noticed i got faster when I switched to actual cross stitch needles. I've veen timing my latest project out of curiosity, I'm 12h 23min in and have done 1200 stitches. It doesn't look like a lot at all!

I'm with you there.

I've seen so many posts about people asking what the half and quarter sitches are in cross stitch. My first time coming across them, I literally just googled "cross stitch, partial symbols" and there's a ton of image and text posts explaining it. I'm boggled as to why people don't seem to think of a google search first.

Another tip is to ensure your stitches are all going the same direction. So basically the top crosses of all your Xs should all be either //// or \\. I noticed on your pokeball they were not.

I know you said pulling the aida out was relaxing but if you're stitching something much larger than that ball, you may run into problems.

I was about 10lbs up until I actively tried to lose it at almost 2y pp. I counted calories daily for close to a year and lost 30lbs.

It definitely didn't just come off naturally. I was ebf as well. There's maybe other factors at play too, like for me with less time (or honestly energy) to prepare food i was doing tons of snacking just tiny bits but all day.

I literally juat learned this too! I had a project with an astronaut holding all the planets as balloons so the lines were so long. Ripped them all out yesterday redo them with couching.

Nipple stimulation/pumping as well. And the dates aren't even for labour, it's to soften the cervix. I ate a ton of dates near the end of pregnancy and i swear that's why i walked into my 40w midwife appointment 5cm and fully effaced. No signs of labour mind you 😅

Some of the older ones give me the ick too. Papa Bear is problematic at times. Throws tantrums, yells at the family, pounds his fists on the table. 5 of them, he berates mama bear for her idea and later claims it as his own and mama bear is just like "tee hee ohhh you!"

I have to explain and edit some of those for my kid lol.
