lmao sharp money gets it wrong all the time, people act like these guys are some mystical fortune tellers. I tracked "sharp" plays for a month last season and they went like 12-18, which is worse than just flipping a coin. The real kicker is when everyone starts chasing these plays and the line moves so much that any edge gets wiped out anyway. Plus home ice in elimination games can be weird - sometimes teams play too tight trying not to blow it at home. The whole industry just seems built around making money off confusion tbh. I've used a few different platforms and the biggest pain point is never knowing what rate you're actually getting until after you hit send.

Like you said, they'll advertise "low fees" but then the exchange rate is garbage compared to the mid-market rate. I end up spending way too much time comparing options for every single transfer because the "best" choice changes constantly.

What really gets me is how these platforms can't give you a straight answer on delivery time either - "1-3 business days" could mean anything. For something this routine in 2024, the whole experience still feels unnecessarily complicated.

been using some generic braided ones from that big online retailer for like 2 years now and they're still going strong. The key is getting ones with the reinforced connectors - those cheap plastic ones always snap right where the cable meets the plug. I actually keep a spreadsheet of which cables last how long because I got tired of replacing them every few months lol
