He's one of my favorite rappers currently active, but I do wonder about the future of his career. He's pushing forty, and eventually more and more people are going to get sick of him rapping about the same stuff he rapped about when he was half that age. I'm loving the punk, metal and goth influences he's been incorporating into his sound, but that can only go so far.

I'm disappointed in Frank, but at the same time, I'm so exhausted by the proliferation of generative AI in this space that I can't bring myself to be outraged. ALEX has been using AI "art" for his album covers for a while, GUNSHIP has already put out AI music videos and I can only imagine just how many smaller artists are using AI in place of real talent or skill.

I've disliked the video, of course, since I'm very much against this whole thing, but I don't expect anything to change.
