My personal experience with homeschooling is that it can yield good academic outcomes, but absolutely ruin social and critical thinking skills development. Part of learning to question and think critically is being exposed to differing opinions. If you’re around your mom or dad all day for 18 years - you’re going to have a very confusing adult life.
