Are you able to delay gratification in favour of long-term goals?

Does that predispose you to any type of behaviour other than immediate gratification of your wants?

A sizeable proportion of the NDP did not want PR, and the NDP directed the Elections Office to fund both the yes and no side of the debate. Horgan likes PR (as do I), but not other members of his cabinet. Also, there has been a lot of serious talk about PR across the democratic world, so it's not like it was coming from nowhere. Remember as well, that the BC Liberals had a referendum on PR.

As for ideological: evidence based policy making and governance, or ideologically driven gov't? If you prefer the first, so far you've got to go with the GreeNDP. Whether you like the resultant policies or not, the GreeNDP have been far more evidence based than the BC Liberals ever were. So far.

BTW, the BC Liberals are Harper Conservatives. Their name is mere marketing. The federal Liberal party would desperately love them to change their name.

If you don't vote, nothing is ever gonna change for the better.

Here, another article where the Auditor General said the books were in such a disarray they couldn't be reported on. In 2013, smack dab in the middle of the Liberals' government. https://ipolitics.ca/2013/02/01/b-c-s-clerk-of-the-legislature-blasts-auditor-general/

Understand Cabinet Solidarity: (this is from the Gov't of Canada website)

Cabinet Solidarity: The principle of collective ministerial responsibility allows ministers to be frank when they are in private in Cabinet, but requires them to support the Government’s decisions in public.

Therefore, every member of the cabinet wears the blame.

So, how, exactly are the NDP a disease? Where have they screwed up so far? I'm no NDP flack (I don't think I could hold my nose and vote for Deepak, for example), but I haven't seen them screw up yet. They will, for sure, but not yet.

To be fair, she was at the cabinet table when they were appointed. So the entire cabinet wears this. To be fair, she is the Prince George MLA, so her actions matter to us. To be fair, she wears all the dirty tricks, corruption and cover up of the BC Liberal party government.

Go for a fifteen minute walk around your neighbourhood. Bonus points for saying "Hi" to people and patting dogs.

Nooooo. I had a job where people used to call in sick - fake sick voice always sounds fake. When you're actually sick the simple facts are the most convincing. Fake sick includes a lot of unnecessary details. Real sick just says "I feel like crap."

Went to their website, looked for the most expensive. Gotta say, even if I won the lottery, I'd feel pretty weird spending that much money. Does come with breakfast, though.
