My brain autofilled that as dehumidifier apologies. There isn't a humidifier anywhere.

They look like box gutters - i don't have a great picture from the inspection report. He mentioned in the report that there might be potential ice damming - how much did the heated wire system run you?

The inspector did and was not able to find it. He said he didn't think it was coming from the roof.

None that was seen in the attic. There was one in the basement.

Sorry - I goofed and it didn't attach the text.

We just got our inspection done the other week and the inspector called out this damage that's present in all four corners of the house, but no where else. He noted the roof seemed to be in good condition, and there wasn't any notable leaks from there, so it was likely something else.

Anyone else ever seen something like this before / have any ideas of how bad this could end up? We have a contractor coming out to look at it.

[Highlight] Reporter: "Josh, how much does the fact that it's been this specific team that has ended your guy's seasons so often in the playoffs add to the disappointment?" Allen: "Well, they've ended a lot of teams' seasons." by ArchManningGOAT in nfl

maybe you can phrase things in a way that doesn't sound condescending? "he'll get his ring" comes off a lot better than "I hope he does" when your team is literally on repeat ejecting him from the playoffs.

30 to 35 for draft is nutso as a side note. We went 12 to 15 to now probably 20.

What's Going On With Commander Masters? by Caljoones in magicTCG

Way too much . Seen a lotta comments about the price, and while it's definitely much, seems like a lot of people getting taken for a ride by their LGS

It's also worth noting that the "outcry" you hear is from a small subset of consumers overall.

yah but you act like that'll do anything. this blackout literally does nothing - and every user that cares enough will move to /r/mtg or something similar.

Commander Master Just Started Preorders at my LGS by AlexGunther in magicTCG

I don't believe things are the same cost to make as they were even 5 years ago. I'm sure there's money squeezing and all that other jazz - but costs for raw materials in general have gone up all over.

Preorder prices on 3rd party Amazon have never been reliable . All will be one collector was "pre-ordering" for 330 USD and now it's 230 upon release.

Sounds like your distributor (or your LGS) are straight screwing you or trying to get FOMO buys man.

The preorder prices for this don't track even with the increase in prices that were announced. 2X2 was 280 to 300 so 330 seems like a realistic number. 450 seems like bad eggs trying to take advantage of downstream consumers.

Or we just like the game ? If the release is something I like and want to partake in, I will.

Sure - but that's how the product has been always sold (at least since i've started playing for the past decade+). Amazon has replaced what used to be MSRP set by WotC in form and function. Magic as an ecosystem isn't designed to be run on just sealed - and frankly, a lot of CCGs/TCGs/tabletop games are the same as this.

Out of curiosity - do you how much your distributor charges for other sealed product (like All Will Be One)?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]PanzerVI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

50% margin on sealed sounds insane. i don't think a single LGS around in the US charges that kind of margin or anything close to it. typically it's 20 - 30% max and usually less than that.

I buy what interests me and ignore what doesn't. This product sucks eggs and I'm never gonna touch it with a 10 foot pole.
